Philippe Mathis, EPHE, teaches at the University of Tours, France. He has been Dean of the Planning Dot. and Director of the CESA where he has created and headed a research laboratory. He has been commissioned for numerous studies in the planning field at local and regional levels as well as by the Ministry of Equipment. He is consultant for DATAR, and European Lead partner of the EPSON Project 1.2.1 “Transport Services and Networks”. His main research area is space and transport modeling: graphs theory, urban societies’ dynamics, and currently multilevel modeling and Multi Agents Systems.
