Gouri Dhatt is Professor of Engineering at Laval University in Quebec, Canada, the University of Technology of Compiegne (UTC), France and INSA Rouen, France. He is the co-author of various books on finite elements and their applications.

Gilbert Touzot is Emeritus Professor having worked, since 1967, in computational mechanics at the University of Quebec, Canada, the University of Technology of Compiegne (UTC), France and INSA Rouen, France. He is currently President of the French National Digital University of Technology – UNIT.

Emmanuel Lefrançois is currently Associate Professor at the University of Technology of Compiègne (UTC), France. His areas of expertise concern computer sciences for multiphysics applications and essentially for fluid-structure interactions and he teaches in the fields of computer science (finite elements) and fluid mechanics.
